As a huge fan of the NINJAGO Dragons Rising TV series, I was beyond excited to recreate an epic showdown with this set. The dragon and mech playset is perfect for boys and girls ages 9+ who love ninja warriors like me.
My friend Lucy also got this set and she couldn’t stop raving about it. She was so impressed with the 6 minifigures included in the set – Jay, Sora, Zane, Lord Ras, Empress Beatrix and an Imperium Guard. Each ninja comes with two golden katanas to take on their enemies while Lord Ras has his hammer and Empress Beatrix wields her Imperium sword. It’s a battle for the ages!
Lastly, I have to mention my little cousin Max who went crazy over the flyer vehicle in this set. He loved taking the ninja to the skies with its golden blade wings and powerful shooters that can fire 4 studs. And that’s not all – Jiro, the elemental dragon can be upgraded into a bigger model by adding these wings and studs from the flyer. How cool is that? Plus, we can’t forget about collecting all 5 power elements in different colors from other LEGO NINJAGO sets.
